On-farm weather monitoring

Weather stations that measure your own paddock and calculate the indices you work from: Delta T, inversions, heat load, frost and more.

Spraying, heat stress, frost and fire danger decisions are made on conditions in the paddock, not at a Bureau of Meteorology station many kilometres away. A station on the property measures the inputs directly.

We install weather stations and specific sensors, such as two-height temperature masts for inversion detection, black globe sensors for heat load and soil temperature probes, and set up the calculations and alerts that turn readings into decisions.

What we monitor

  • Air temperature at one or two heights
  • Humidity, wind and rainfall
  • Black globe and solar radiation
  • Soil temperature and leaf wetness
